"At this point, Justin Herbert is Jay Cutler." 🤔 @YahooSchwab believes the Chargers QB is good enough to keep the team Via @YahooSports on X

What happened: Frank Schwab said Justin Herbert profiles as a Jay Cutler-level quarterback. He tied that evaluation to Los Angeles holding off on drafting a quarterback in 2027.

Why it matters: Los Angeles already shut down Justin Herbert trade discussion. The comparison frames the roster question as building around Herbert rather than replacing him.

What to watch: Los Angeles continues the 2026 regular season with Herbert starting.
