Update: Arroyo is most likely headed to Injured Reserve, which would put him out at least four weeks. Via @JFowlerESPN on X

What happened: Arroyo suffered a shoulder injury Thursday and is now a candidate for injured reserve. A placement would sideline him at least four weeks. Severity is still being evaluated and the absence could extend longer.

Why it matters: Arroyo was Seattle's second-round pick at No. 50 in 2025 out of Miami. He posted 15 catches for 179 yards and one touchdown across 13 games last season. Losing him thins Seattle's tight end rotation during the regular season.

By the numbers: 2025 season (as of Sept. 29): 13 games, 15 receptions, 179 yards, 1 touchdown. Draft: 2025 second round, 50th overall, Miami. Injured reserve minimum absence: 4 weeks.

What to watch: Seattle must still finalize the reserve transaction. The next medical update will define the length of absence.
