What happened: AJ Barner is making plays for the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football including converting on a direct snap during the Barn Yard play. The tight end continues to factor into short yardage and chain moving situations while the Kansas City Chiefs trail on the road.

Why it matters: Consistent execution in specialty packages shows why the Seattle Seahawks coaching staff trusts AJ Barner with the ball in his hands during prime time action. Expanding his involvement in the regular passing attack gives the offense a reliable mismatch target against the Kansas City Chiefs defense.
