What happened: Sepang International Circuit hosted the Bahrain Grand Prix on Oct. 4 after April postponement moved the race to Malaysia. The weekend drew 261,000 fans, with 103,000 on race day for the first Formula 1 weekend at the track since 2017.

Why it matters: The sellout marks the largest crowd in Sepang history and a return after nearly ten years away. Staging a Bahrain-branded event abroad in two months required coordination between two circuits and federations.

By the numbers: 261,000 weekend attendance, a Sepang record. 103,000 race-day attendance.

What to watch: The triple-header closes with the Singapore Grand Prix next weekend. Bahrain is scheduled to host its own race again in March.
