What happened: Sergei Bobrovsky recorded his first victory as a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The veteran goaltender, who agreed to a three-year, $21M deal in July, spoke in a postgame interview. He stated the outcome brought a great feeling and emphasized that winning is always fun.

Why it matters: Establishing early success provides immediate returns on the organization's primary offseason investment in the crease. Consistent goaltending remains a priority for the club as it navigates the opening stretch of the regular season.

What to watch: Bobrovsky looks to build early momentum as the team continues its October schedule.
