What happened: On Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe said the Dallas Cowboys held a players-only meeting in Week 5 after a loss. Sharpe said classroom talk means little without better execution on the field, while Joe Johnson said the format can clarify roles for younger players.

Why it matters: Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer backed the session as productive, open and honest. Sharpe answered that a team still has to tackle and do its job on Sunday.

What to watch: Watch whether Dallas plays to its standard in its next game.
