What happened: Shedeur Sanders signed with Adie von Gontard, CEO of Young Money APAA Sports, for representation. He went through draft night and the early part of his NFL career without an agent. The agreement places Sanders and Travis Hunter with the same agency.

Why it matters: Cleveland drafted Sanders 144th overall in the fifth round of the 2025 draft out of Colorado. Securing formal representation gives him negotiation structure as Cleveland sorts its quarterback order.

What to watch: Cleveland's playing-time decisions at quarterback will determine when the new partnership faces its first negotiations.
