What happened: Sanders connected for six points during his scheduled start, one week after entering in the third quarter. He finished that prior appearance without a touchdown.

Why it matters: The outing is a key evaluation point in Sanders' unresolved quarterback competition. The touchdown offers a positive response to an interception in his first preseason appearance.

What to watch: His remaining snaps and final stat line will shape the next stage of the competition.
