What happened: Sean Manaea retired the first 15 batters with four strikeouts, using 52 pitches to protect a 7-0 lead. He allowed five straight hits to open the sixth and exited without recording another out.

Why it matters: Manaea was pursuing the second no-hitter of his career and the 25th perfect game in MLB history. The five-run rally cut the margin to two before the game ended 7-5.
