What happened: The Chicago Sky took a 37-31 advantage against the Phoenix Mercury into the locker room following the first two quarters of play. Azurá Stevens anchored the interior with seven points and six rebounds, while Natasha Cloud chipped in six points and a pair of three-pointers. Kahleah Copper paced all scorers with 11 points on three made triples to keep Phoenix within striking distance, and Valériane Ayayi added seven points and four boards.

Why it matters: Chicago entered the contest looking to snap a two-game skid and improve on a 6-16 start to the campaign. Phoenix seeks to extend a three-game winning streak and climb above their current 10-13 record. The offensive production from Kahleah Copper remains critical for the Mercury as they attempt to erase the deficit.

What to watch: The Mercury will look to find additional scoring options alongside Copper in the final two quarters. Chicago aims to maintain their defensive pressure and secure a road victory.
