What happened: The WNBL reports Southside Melbourne is set to part ways with import Sakima Walker, who joined the Flyers in September. The move is reported, not yet confirmed by the club.

Why it matters: An import departure ahead of the WNBL27 season leaves Southside Melbourne with a roster spot to refill. The club also brought back Isobelle Wightman for WNBL27 in August.

What to watch: Watch for official confirmation from the Flyers and for word on a replacement import.
