What happened: The alternate presentation will air Feb. 14 alongside the main Super Bowl LXI broadcast. It will be carried on Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney XD and the ESPN App.

Why it matters: The move brings the themed Funday Football format to the league championship game. Carriage across four Disney outlets gives viewers a second option beyond the main telecast.

What to watch: Broadcast talent and format details are still to be announced. Expect additional programming plans ahead of the Feb. 14 game.
