What happened: Dallas says Prime subscribers will have access to the Stars as the club rolls out its new home for Texas Hockey. The move arrives with the 2026-27 opener approaching after weeks of hints about a distribution change.

Why it matters: The switch matters because it changes where Dallas fans will watch the team at the start of the new season. It also firms up the media plan that surfaced in August, when Dallas Stars reportedly planning Prime Video move from Victory+ pointed to a pending shift.

What to watch: Watch for the full access details tied to the rollout before opening night. Dallas is directing fans to a team explainer as the launch moves from announcement to game coverage.
