What happened: Pittsburgh called off its scheduled fan gathering in the French capital, citing recent local events, per Armando Salguero.

Why it matters: Canceling the team-sponsored gathering removes an official hub for traveling supporters ahead of the Week 7 international matchup. The precaution follows the NFL heightening security for Sunday's Paris game amid ongoing civil unrest in France.

What to watch: Sunday's kickoff in Paris remains on schedule as game preparations proceed under heightened league security protocols.
