What happened: Kiah Stokes and Gabby Williams reflected on their collegiate national title partnership while finalizing preparations for Game 7 of the 2026 WNBA Finals. Williams previously praised Stokes as one of the league's top screeners during their postseason run. Both players now head into Saturday's decider with a championship on the line.

Why it matters: A winner-take-all Game 7 marks the culmination of the 2026 postseason after a grueling six-game stretch. Stokes brings the veteran poise of a three-time champion to the rotation, while Williams seeks her first career WNBA title. Establishing frontcourt chemistry and defensive discipline will be critical in deciding the final outcome.

What to watch: Game 7 of the 2026 WNBA Finals tips off Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on USA Network and Peacock.
