What happened: Phoenix Suns set their opening night roster for the 2026-27 season on Oct. 20. The decision fixes the group eligible to dress for the opener.

Why it matters: Opening-night eligibility defines rotation choices to start the 2026-27 campaign. It also settles standard and two-way accounting as Phoenix leaves the preseason.

What to watch: Phoenix now turns to tip-off to put the selected group into game action.
