#Broncos WR Courtland Sutton played an important role in supporting Bo Nix during his rookie season. That hasn’t stopped Via @TroyRenck on X

What happened: Courtland Sutton supported Bo Nix through his rookie season after Denver drafted Nix 12th overall in 2024. That backing has continued as Nix faces external criticism during the 2026 regular season.

Why it matters: Denver's passing game centers on the Nix-to-Sutton connection entering the middle of the 2026 regular season. Veteran support in the locker room steadies the offense while outside pressure builds.

By the numbers: Nix completed 388 of 612 passes for 3,931 yards with 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 17 games in 2025. Sutton caught 74 passes for 1,017 yards and 7 touchdowns in 17 games in 2025.

What to watch: Denver moves forward in the 2026 regular season with its quarterback-receiver tandem intact. Upcoming games will show if the offense rebounds.
