What happened: Jonathan Taylor and Budda Baker are being discussed as potential moves ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline. Taylor signed an extension with Indianapolis in August.

Why it matters: Taylor's contract gives Indianapolis a reason to weigh any offer against keeping him beyond this season. Baker's 2026 production makes his availability relevant to teams seeking help at safety.

By the numbers: Taylor has 148 carries for 610 yards and eight touchdowns in 2026 through eight games. Baker has 51 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one interception in 2026 through eight games.

What to watch: The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
