What happened: In a [FOX Sports proposal](https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-trade-deadline-deals-i-want-to-see-jonathan-taylor-xavier-worthy-cowboys), Steven Ruiz suggests Cincinnati send 2027 second- and third-round picks for Jonathan Taylor. His other hypothetical deals swap Brian Thomas Jr. for Xavier Worthy, send Vita Vea to Dallas, Budda Baker to Buffalo and Josh Downs to Carolina.

Why it matters: Taylor would address Cincinnati's shortage of explosive runs. Vea would bolster Dallas against the run, while Baker would join a Buffalo defense ranked 31st in expected points added allowed.

By the numbers: Taylor has 17 runs of at least 10 yards this season; Cincinnati's running backs have 12 combined. Downs has gained 147 yards against man coverage.

What to watch: The [NFL trade window](https://edge-operations.nfl.com/calendar-events/nfl-important-dates) closes Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
