What happened: Head coach Mike Elko announced offensive lineman Blake Ivy will miss the remainder of the 2026 season. Ivy suffered an injury during practice last week and was held out of Saturday's game against Missouri.

Why it matters: The loss tests the depth of an offensive line that has already seen multiple rotations to protect quarterback Marcel Reed. Texas A&M sits at 3-3 overall and 1-3 in SEC play following a 27-6 defeat to Missouri. Lamont Rogers recently moved to right tackle as the Aggies seek stability up front.

By the numbers: Ivy appeared in five games for the Aggies in 2026, starting the first three weeks of the season. He earned a 71.9 run-blocking grade and a 56.5 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus during his appearances.

What to watch: Texas A&M will host The Citadel in Week 7 before traveling to face Alabama.
