What happened: The concept would move Dalton Knecht and other assets for a veteran center. The incoming big man would give Luka Doncic another pick-and-roll partner.

Why it matters: Los Angeles has a full roster but continues to explore additional center depth. An outbound package would create room while further reshaping the team around Doncic.

What to watch: Watch for evidence of team-to-team talks before training camp or signs that Knecht will remain for 2026-27.
