What happened: ESPN highlighted that the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder are 6-0 through the early rounds of the 2026 NBA playoffs, led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams. The post underscores OKC's dominant start to its title defense.

Why it matters: A 6-0 postseason start signals the Thunder are operating at championship form again, with their core intact and rotations clicking. It reinforces OKC as the team to beat in the West and raises the bar for any contender hoping to push them in later rounds.

What to watch: Watch how OKC handles its next opponent and whether the unbeaten run holds as competition stiffens deeper into the bracket.
