What happened: Tennessee Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill sent an email to fans on Friday apologizing for the team's performance while stating that ownership and leadership remain committed to turning the franchise around. Despite the public frustration, Nihill confirmed that the organization fully believes in head coach Robert Saleh, whose tenure has already sparked debate, alongside general manager Mike Borgonzi.

Why it matters: Issuing a midseason vote of confidence rarely calms an restless fanbase, yet constant leadership turnover only sets a rebuilding roster further back. Giving Saleh and Borgonzi time to see their shared plan through the 2026 regular season is a more stable path than making a reactive October change.
