Interesting. Travis Hunter plays only on defense. Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: Jacksonville deployed Hunter exclusively at cornerback against Cincinnati. The second overall pick of the 2025 draft out of Colorado entered the NFL with a stated two-way plan.

Why it matters: Full-time cornerback duty settles weeks of debate about his workload split. It shifts receiver reps elsewhere while Jacksonville sorts its rotation.

By the numbers: Per ESPN as of Sept. 29, 2026: Hunter caught 28 passes for 298 yards and 1 touchdown in 7 games in 2025.

What to watch: Watch next week's snap split to see if defense-only becomes the baseline.
