What happened: Trea Turner delivered again Saturday, pushing Philadelphia's lead over New York to 6-1 as the game continues. The Phillies had dropped the most recent meeting between the two clubs, a 4-1 loss in New York on July 16.

Why it matters: The result keeps the season series tied 1-1 between the clubs. Philadelphia's offense has leaned on the same Trea Turner who has been central to recent matchups against New York this season.

By the numbers: Philadelphia is 47-42 this season, scoring 4.3 runs per game; New York is 37-52, scoring 4.1. The two teams have split their last five meetings, with the Phillies taking two and the Mets three.

What to watch: Both sides continue play with the season series tied 1-1 and a share of the head-to-head record still up for grabs.
