What happened: Trey McBride has logged more routes than any wide receiver or tight end in the NFL this season, according to Pro Football Focus tracking. The volume establishes the tight end as a focal point across all offensive personnel groupings.

Why it matters: The workload explains why franchise icon Larry Fitzgerald tabbed Trey McBride as the NFL's best tight end in October. His central role also prompted Arizona to firmly rebuff trade interest from Denver ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline.

What to watch: Arizona looks to sustain McBride's heavy target share as defenses adjust their coverage brackets in the second half of the season.
