What happened: Tyrese Haliburton hit a deep pull-up jumper from the center-court logo during Friday's preseason game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The contest marks Haliburton's first game introduction at his home arena since Game 6 of the 2025 NBA Finals.

Why it matters: Haliburton continues to build rhythm ahead of the 2026-27 regular season after returning to full preseason action earlier this week. Deep pull-up shooting off the bounce remains a primary indicator of his lower-body lift and offensive range entering opening week.

By the numbers: Haliburton recorded 24 first-half points on Oct. 14, combining with Ivica Zubac for 37 points and eight assists before halftime.

What to watch: Preseason wraps up ahead of next week's 2026-27 NBA regular-season openers.
