Why it matters: In each of the two previous post-merger seasons where at least three teams cleared Week 7 without a loss, two of those clubs eventually met in the Super Bowl. San Francisco and Kansas City currently hold the No. 1 seeds in the NFC and AFC, while Minnesota occupies the NFC's No. 2 seed.

By the numbers: San Francisco leads the league at 6-0 on a six-game winning streak, while Kansas City (5-0) and Minnesota (5-0) each carry five-game winning streaks.

What to watch: Sunday's Week 7 results will determine how many of the three franchises preserve their unblemished records entering Week 8.
