What happened: The Utah Jazz open their 2026-27 preseason schedule on Sunday evening against the Denver Nuggets. The matchup will take place at the CU Events Center in Boulder, Colorado.

Why it matters: The exhibition marks Utah's return to the court following an offseason that saw the organization secure guard Keyonte George to a five-year, $157.5 million extension. It provides the first opportunity to evaluate the roster's development and new additions ahead of the regular season.

By the numbers: Denver secured victories in both recent regular-season matchups between the clubs, winning 135-129 on March 27 and 130-117 on April 1.

What to watch: The game will be broadcast locally on KJZZ and the Jazz+ platform, with radio coverage provided by the KSL Sports Zone.
