What happened: The Minnesota Vikings elevated Odell Beckham Jr. from the practice squad for Sunday's game at New Orleans. It remains undecided whether the receiver will actively play.

Why it matters: The transaction provides insurance for the offensive depth chart. Both Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison enter the weekend carrying questionable injury designations.

What to watch: Sunday's pregame inactive list will finalize Beckham's availability.
