What happened: Brown is listed with an ankle injury. New England plays the New York Jets on Sunday before visiting the Chicago Bears on Thursday.

Why it matters: The short week compresses preparation between the Sunday and Thursday games. Practice participation precedes any game availability decision.

What to watch: Monitor Brown's practice activity this week ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.
