What happened: Los Angeles Lakers center Walker Kessler checked back into the game for the fourth quarter to log additional conditioning work with play still in progress. The anchor of the Lakers interior defense re-entered the rotation rather than sitting out the final period.

Why it matters: Giving Kessler fourth-quarter floor time allows the Lakers frontcourt to build game stamina despite the wide margin on the scoreboard. Returning to action also exposes his undefeated shot streak to live defensive possessions instead of preserving the mark from the bench.

What to watch: Watch whether Kessler finishes his fourth-quarter stint without a missed field goal while play continues.
