What happened: Walker Kessler finished 10 dunks to set the highest single-game mark by a Laker since Shaquille O'Neal in 2003, per ESPN and Khobi Price.

Why it matters: The interior finishing builds on the Lakers' +15 margin in Kessler's 16-minute preseason debut as he steps into an expanded anchor role at center.

What to watch: Kessler carries that interior efficiency into the next stop on the Lakers' opening-week 2026-27 regular-season schedule.
