What happened: Walker Kessler took the court for his pregame routine on Sunday ahead of his first game back in Utah. Teammate Jake LaRavia is also expected to return to the active lineup after missing the previous outing with a sprained right ankle.

Why it matters: Sunday's matchup marks Kessler's first appearance in Salt Lake City since he was traded from the Jazz to the Lakers on July 1 for a package of first-round picks and swaps following an offseason standoff with Utah's front office.

What to watch: Tipoff in Utah will show whether the splint on Kessler's left hand affects his minutes or interior workload against his former club.
