What happened: Ed Werder praised Steve Gleason for his Superdome play in Saints history. The Falcons-Saints game has not started yet. The score is 0-0 as of scheduled time.

Why it matters: Franchise moments frame how supporters measure the present team. A pre-kickoff tribute keeps that standard visible without adding stakes.

What to watch: Watch for the scheduled kickoff with both sides still scoreless.
