Love to hear "Let's go White Sox" on the road! https://t.co/Oh4csbQF2Z Via @whitesox on X

What happened: White Sox support was audible on the road in Cleveland as Chicago opened ALDS play Saturday. The moment added a postseason edge before first pitch in the club's next October test.

Why it matters: The road atmosphere followed Chicago's 7-3 clincher against Houston, the win that pushed the club into the ALDS. That backdrop matters as the White Sox try to carry early postseason momentum into a tougher road setting.

By the numbers: Chicago's sweep of Houston was the franchise's first postseason series win since 2005.

What to watch: Chicago's postseason game in Cleveland is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on TBS. The next marker is whether the White Sox turn that road energy into an early series edge.
