What happened: Nylander converted on the man advantage in the third period, extending Toronto's live lead from 3-1 to 4-1.

Why it matters: The special-teams goal gives Nylander, who recently missed a morning skate with an illness, an insurance tally as the Maple Leafs work to close out the final frame.

What to watch: Play continues in the third period with Toronto holding a 4-1 advantage.
