What happened: Minnesota Lynx guard Courtney Williams drained a corner three-pointer off a deceptive pass from rookie Olivia Miles, extending Minnesota's lead late in the third quarter. The sequence highlighted a dominant offensive display by the Lynx at Target Center, where they led the expansion Portland Fire 68–45.

Why it matters: The Lynx are currently 10–3 and rank first in the league with a 50.1% field goal percentage, utilizing elite ball movement to dismantle opposing defenses. For Minnesota, maintaining this momentum is critical for their Commissioner's Cup standings as they trail the Las Vegas Aces in the Western Conference race.

What to watch: Minnesota looks to close out their sixth straight home victory as the fourth quarter begins. Portland continues their search for a first Commissioner's Cup win.
