What happened: Williams finished with 19 points, four rebounds, two steals and three made 3-pointers as Golden State completed its Game 3 comeback. She poured in 11 points in the fourth quarter to seal the Valkyries' place in the WNBA semifinals.

Why it matters: The victory delivers the franchise's first playoff series win and locks down the last open spot in the semifinal field. It also gives Gabby Williams another decisive line in a season that has repeatedly run through her late-game offense.

By the numbers: Williams scored 57.9% of her points in the fourth quarter, accounting for 11 of her 19 in the clincher. Her final line added three 3-pointers, four rebounds and two steals.

What to watch: Attention now shifts to Golden State's semifinal matchup and whether Williams' late-shot creation carries over into the next round.
