What happened: Team Spoon and Team Coop continued filling out their WNBA All-Star Game rosters in the first round of the player draft. Team Spoon took A'ja Wilson, Olivia Miles and Aliyah Boston, while Team Coop selected Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Mitchell and Natasha Howard.

Why it matters: The draft sets the matchups for this year's All-Star exhibition, pairing top vote-getters and player picks across two mixed rosters rather than a traditional conference format. Wilson, Stewart, Mitchell and Boston were among the picks joining the league's marquee showcase event.

What to watch: Team Spoon and Team Coop will finish filling out their rosters as the draft continues ahead of the All-Star Game.
