What happened: Washington's NBA club posted a brief show of support for the Capitals on Friday, tying the hockey hashtag #AllCaps to the shared local tag #ForTheDistrict. The message added another cross-account salute around the Capitals in Washington's sports market.

Why it matters: The post extends a run of District-branded crossover promotion among local teams. It also follows a Mystics crossover nod to the Capitals earlier Friday, underscoring how Washington clubs are amplifying one another's game-day presence.

What to watch: Watch for more same-market crossover posts as Washington teams lean on the District branding through the fall schedule.
