What happened: Yahoo Sports floated a six-player trade framework sending James Wood and CJ Abrams to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The concept has Los Angeles adding the pair in exchange for a multi-player return.

Why it matters: Los Angeles is playing October baseball, where lineup depth often decides short series. A two-regular swing of this size would lift the present roster while thinning the system behind it.

What to watch: Watch for team-sourced traction or a counter-framework in the coming days. Nothing is agreed unless the clubs finalize terms.
