What happened: The San Francisco 49ers met with wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and agent Drew Rosenhaus on Friday, Nov. 6. Asked who he met with afterward, Aiyuk said, "Big bosses, big business.

Why it matters: Aiyuk reported to the facility in an effort to secure his release, per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. That effort could be complicated by roughly $13 million in bonus forfeiture he owes the team, Pelissero reports.

By the numbers: San Francisco is 6-1 through 7 games in 2026 and holds the No. 1 seed. The 49ers' most recent game was a 29-20 loss at Atlanta on Oct. 25.

What to watch: The NFL trade deadline arrives Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. ET.
