What happened: Aaron Donald will not play Sunday when the Los Angeles Rams face the Philadelphia Eagles. Sarah Barshop said the Rams defender is dealing with a back injury.

Why it matters: Los Angeles loses a central piece of its defensive front for a matchup with Philadelphia. The absence also dents the Rams' Aaron Donald return storyline a month after the team activated him for the NFL opener.

What to watch: The Rams' next injury report will show whether Donald returns to practice next week. Sunday's game will also show how Los Angeles reshapes its front without him.
