Once again, future Hall of Fame DT Aaron Donald tried out for the #Rams. https://t.co/pf7TraVB81 Via @RapSheet on X

What happened: Aaron Donald, a future Hall of Fame defensive tackle, worked out for the Rams again, the second time this summer he has appeared on the NFL's transaction wire for a tryout with the club, per Adam Schefter. No signing has been announced.

Why it matters: The workout keeps alive a subplot that has run since early summer, with no roster move yet confirmed. Los Angeles opened the season 1-0 after beating Kansas City 20-12, and any Donald addition would add experience to a defensive front the team has already reshaped this preseason.

By the numbers: Rams: 1-0 this season, allowing 12.0 points per game. Chiefs: 0-1, allowing 20.0 points per game.

What to watch: Watch for whether the workout results in a formal signing as the Rams continue shaping their roster.
