What happened: The Las Vegas Aces are rallying support for guard Jackie Young and forward NaLyssa Smith as WNBA All-Star voting opens. The team spotlighted recent stat lines, with Smith scoring 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting and Young posting 20 points, nine assists and five steals.

Why it matters: All-Star recognition is a measuring stick for a Las Vegas core that entered 2026 as the reigning champions. Strong individual campaigns from Young and Smith alongside A'ja Wilson signal the Aces remain a contender as the regular season progresses.

By the numbers: Smith: 21 PTS / 5 REB / 8-10 FG. Young: 20 PTS / 9 AST / 5 STL / 4-8 3PM / 47% FG.

What to watch: Watch the first official All-Star voting returns to see whether the Aces' guards crack the early leaderboard as balloting continues.
