What happened: Vice President JD Vance made an unannounced stop at the Cincinnati Bengals facility during Wednesday's workout and spent time inside the locker room. Quarterback Joe Burrow, who was limited at practice in mid-September with a shoulder issue, addressed the visit after leaving the field.

Why it matters: Selected first overall by Cincinnati in the 2020 NFL Draft, Burrow serves as the primary locker room voice when high-profile visitors draw national attention to midweek workouts. The appearance comes as the Bengals navigate the October slate of the 2026 NFL regular season following Burrow's September shoulder and back issues.

What to watch: Cincinnati continues its midweek practice schedule as the Bengals prepare for their upcoming 2026 regular-season game.
