What happened: Darius Acuff described an on-court exchange with Draymond Green from a recent game. Green asked who else touched the ball that possession and told him to read the game more. Acuff said Green competed while teaching, and he listened and agreed.

Why it matters: The moment shows a rookie adjusting to NBA defensive reads against a veteran defender. Green is known for calling out coverages and directing teammates in real time. Learning to move the ball earlier can decide rotation minutes in camp.

What to watch: The next step is whether Acuff shows quicker reads and ball movement in upcoming preseason minutes.
