What happened: Aday Mara added a post scoring flash during Oklahoma City's 2026-27 preseason slate. Nick Gallo noted Mara forced a bunch of Pelicans misses in the lane early in the same outing.

Why it matters: Offensive flashes extend the early evaluation beyond rim protection for the rookie center. Preseason reps ahead of 2026-27 shape frontcourt rotation depth.

What to watch: Watch whether the post touches continue in the next preseason outing.
