Why it matters: Adeleke became Ireland’s first European Championship medalist in the women’s 200m. She now owns European silver medals in two individual events after finishing second in the 400m in 2024.
By the numbers: Adeleke finished 0.09 seconds behind Hunt. Her 22.28 cut 0.06 from the Irish record and improved by 0.52 on the 22.80 she ran to qualify in July.
